Order of First Families of Mississippi Spring Gathering

The Order of First Families of Mississippi hosted its spring luncheon Saturday, June 3, 2017, at The Carriage House in Natchez, Mississippi, with Bertram Hayes-Davis, the great-great-grandson of Jefferson Davis, as the speaker. Hayes-Davis delivered an  informative presentation on Davis’s extraordinary and eventful life. Prior to the luncheon, members enjoyed a morning social at The Towers; and on the preceding evening, a casual, social dinner was held at Rolling River Bistro for members and guests from Natchez and for those who had arrived a day early. In addition to Saturday’s luncheon presentation, the organization elected and installed new officers. More than one hundred members attended from Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, and North Carolina. Photography by Bill Perkins
