Catherine Caroline Myers and Brady Colt Oswalt were united in holy matrimony on February 25, 2017, at half after six o’clock in the evening at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez, Mississippi, with Reverend David O’Connor officiating at the double-ring ceremony.  Scripture readings were read by Miss Molly Clement and Miss Leah Prine; and the Prayers of the Faithful were read by Miss Caroline Golden, Miss Fisher Iseminger, and Miss Laura Whitam. Music was provided by Mrs. Cherish McCallum, organist, and Miss Gabrielle Richardson, soloist. Mrs. Teresa Burns and Mrs. Lisa McKnight served as wedding coordinators.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Macky Myers of Natchez, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Myers and the late James Arthur Eidt of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Mack Myers of Monticello, Louisiana.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy McIntyre of Tallulah, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. William Oswalt of Transylvania, Louisiana. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Brady Oswalt and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Alberez.

The day started with a quail hunt for the groom, groomsmen, father of the bride, and family friends and with a bridesmaids brunch hosted by Mrs. Paige Iseminger and Mrs. Heather Lewis at Elliot & Company Salon and Spa where the bride and her attendants prepared for the night ahead.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a Lillian West sand-colored, mermaid silhouette gown of ruched organza and tulle with a sweetheart neckline. The elongated fit flared into a ruffled skirt with chapel-length train. She wore a cathedral-length veil of tulle. The bride carried a bouquet of red, white, and magenta garden roses; peonies; white hydrangeas; and hypericim berries wrapped with streamers of ivory and deep pink ribbon and adorned with her grandmother’s rosary.  Her bouquet was designed by John Grady Burns.

Serving as maid of honor was Rebecca Myers, sister of the bride, of Natchez. Bridesmaids were Kalynn Williams, sister of the groom, and Lauren Halley, Elizabeth Sibley, Taylor Morace, Christina Allesi, Alexa Mallory, Mary Ann Mabray, Rachel Taylor, and Brittany Massey, all friends of the bride. Emery Cate Lewis served as junior bridesmaid, and Sophie Wheeler and Calie Massey served as flower girls. The bridesmaids wore an assortment of different styles in a similar taupe color, and the flower girls wore Strasburg Lace heirloom dresses in ivory.

Serving as the best man was Lee Michael Fairchild, friend of the groom, of Lake Providence, Louisiana. Groomsmen were Joey Hooper, Trimble Mabray, Tripp Bryant, Matt Muse, Jamie Fortenberry, Lawson Keene, Jim White, William King, and Bert Lensing. Jack Lewis was the junior groomsman. Ring bearers were Mason Martin, Sawyer Williams, and Hampton Williams. Ushers for the evening were Chase Williams, Jae Eidt, Frederick Schneider, and Scott Taylor. The groomsmen wore black Vera Wang tuxedos.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Natchez Community Center.  Lighted trees lined the entrance to the reception where tables were adorned with cotton bolls and mercury glass. The ceiling was draped with white gossamer panels and chandeliers.

Mr. and Mrs. Colt Oswalt make their home now in Lake Providence, Louisiana, where Catherine owns her own gift store and Colt continues the family tradition of farming.
